Links: Quantity vs. Quality

Some weeks ago I was talking about links - what else? - with a SEO colleague. Usually people think you should get as many links as possible in order to rank properly for your desired keyword.

However really good SEOs know that Quality is by far more important than Quantity. If I could chose some links for this contest, I will just ask for 4 or 5 highquality links.

It is easy to check this idea. Just have a look at the rankings:

Out from Google

In a few days we hace been able to disappear from Google, at least from the first 100 entries. It could be considered really easy to achieve this, but we should consider that two weeks ago we were in FIRST page.

Some of you hace said that our designs our simpler than example.com. It's true :D ! However, we are still really excited about the contest and we are sure that at the end we will be dealing with some other players for first positions.

In the meanwhile I will try to get some fresh at the pool ... ups i was thinking on swimming pool :)

Eurodipity now twitter

One of the reference tools during the past year has been twitter, so here we go with a twitter for our Eurodipity. A really nice way to follow our updates and evolution in the contest.

Another interesting tool could be facebook, that anyone has started a new group or application based on this Network.

SEO Eurodipity begins

This blog has been created in order to participate in Magic Costa Blanca SEO contest for this summer.

As one of the allowed issues was SEO we decided to create this subdomain seo.eurodipity.com where we will be able to share out thoughts about SEO and share our strategy for the contest with the rest of participants.
